Did you know you could get a French Fries Vending Machine? Imagine being able to get your own chips at any time of the day or night, without having to get the chip pan out. We all think it is a great idea and would love to use a machine, if only we knew where to find one.
The Bears and I would like to give everyone an apology. Yesterday, we stated that The Bear Blog was a no-go zone as far as the election was concerned but today we have changed our minds. We have decided we are going to back one of the candidates running at the next election. Gordon Brown, David Cameron and Nick Clegg can all get lost we are not going to follow any of them but there is one serious candidate worthy of our support.
The Bears would like to announce they are making their website a General Election no-go area. We will not be mentioning it on any of our future posts and we could not give a flying fig who wins it. Most politicians are only in politics for what they can get for themselves and do not intend to help their community or anyone else for that matter.
The Battle of Rorke’s Drift must be one of the most famous battles in world history. It took place in South Africa between 4,000 Zulu Warriors and just 140 British soldiers. Despite being terribly outnumbered, they held off the Zulus until reinforcements arrived. The battle was immortalised in the film Zulu, starring Michael Caine and Stanley Baker.
We all like Sundays here at the Bear Sanctuary. It is the one day when I do not have to go to work and means we can all relax and have a lie in. Once we are up, it is a nice relaxing day spent watching some sports, playing around on the internet and generally re-charging the batteries ready for the following week. We like our Sundays
Alpine Bear has arrived. The postman delivered him this morning and he climbed weary eyed out of his parcel. He was not sure what was going on as no one had explained anything to him. We all sat down to have a little conversation explaining the workings of the Bear Sanctuary and introduced him to all the other Bears.
We are pleased to announce today, that two more Bears are on the way to us. One of the Bears, who is currently called Alpine, was nearly sabotaged. Someone started bidding against us and drove the price up to over £8. Unfortunately for them, they did not know they were up against Edward who made sure we won the auction for Alpine. He should be on his way to us today.
