I have been asked many times how I became so obsessed with Teddy Bears that I started the Birkenhead Bear Sanctuary and ended up buying Bears from all over the world. Now, I have told the story of how we came to adopt Eddie before, but the real story started a hundred years ago today. It was the fault of one man for instilling the love of Bears into me.
It has been reported by BBC News that BT have admitted it sent the personal details of people suspected of downloading copyright music and films to an outside firm potentially against the provisions of the data protection act. According to its news report, more than 500 customers had their details forwarded to the outside firm called ACS:Law. Now, following a lapse in security, those details have mistakenly been posted on the internet by the firm.
Most of the artwork used on The Bear’s Blog was prepared using a program called Photoshop. Many of you may have heard of it as it is used by professional photographers and graphic artists around the world. It has become the industry standard for editing photographs to highlight items you want people to notice or to hide things within photographs that you would rather people do not notice.
Iwas sitting peacefully the other day enjoying a nice cup of tea when Granny walked in. She looked over at me and said that she had been thinking. Now this usually starts a nagging little worry at the back of my head, what will she come up with next? Things tend to get more bizarre than usual if Granny actually put some thought into things.

Those of you who have been following the Blog for more than twelve months may remember that I used to go to Fat Club every Thursday.
