The Bears and I decided to watch the film, “PS I Love You” last night. We have seen it before but it’s a nice feel-good film for a Sunday evening and Razzi and I had to be up early for work, so why not. As it was finishing and we were all wiping the tears from our eyes, up popped a message that: The film is dedicated to the memory of Windland Smith Rice. Being the nosey types that we are, we decided to find out who she was and why was the film dedicated to her.
We had a nice little surprise this morning when the postman delivered a parcel which could mean only one thing – our latest Bear had arrived. I brought the parcel in and ripped it open to find a young lady Bear inside which was a bit of a shock because we were told it would be a male. Not only that, but she had brought her little collection of Teddy Bears with her which she refuses to be parted from. We have our new Renault Bear plus three rather weird looking Teddy Bears, a tiger and a green frog.
We now have the Friend’s Portfolio up and running and have added some of the photographs that you have sent us. You can access the Friend’s Portfolio by either clicking on “FRIENDS” in the top menu or clicking on the “See Friend’s Portfolio” next to the Camera icon on the home page. Once the Portfolio is loaded you should see a collection of thumbnails of the photographs which have been added. If you click on any of these thumbnails they will enlarge to their full-size using a light-box. We hope you enjoy seeing some of our friends.
Granny was sitting down the other night watching the National Television Awards when up stepped Stacy Solomon fresh from her success on I’m A Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here. Granny said hey this girl has a great voice but what the hell does Shaun Ryder think he’s doing. Just because he was on “Celebrity” with Stacy why does he think he can sing? People always have to embarrass themselves like this don’t they? He would never make a singer in a million years!
As Razzi and I drive backwards and forwards along the Liverpool waterfront we can’t help but wonder at some of the new buildings being built down there. There is a nice mixture of the old traditional design buildings and the new buildings that look like they wouldn’t be out of place in a Star Trek film. One such building that we do like the lines of is the new Museum of Liverpool which is due to open to the public in July this year.
Now that we have the new theme for the blog up and running smoothly we are ready to implement some of the new features. One of these is the Portfolio. This is a feature whereby you can have a page of photographs that can be clicked on and enlarged from tiny thumbnails to full-size photographs using a light-box. What we thought we would do with this is have a Friends Portfolio where we can feature photographs of our friends or photographs our friends have taken.
We are hopefully soon to become the owners of another Renault Bear who is looking for a new home. Furthermore, he is not just coming on his own but has a few Teddy Bear friends of his own who he is insisting come with him. It is not every day we find a Bear who has his own Teddy Bears. The new Bear has no name as yet but comes with a few Teddy Bear friends, plus a tiger and a frog.
Today has been a disaster, which has led to no new post at 6pm as we have promised to do every day. I was out working and so I thought we would set up the remote posting feature on WordPress which would mean I could post from my Blackberry. Unfortunately, Edward forgot to turn on the XML-RPC service which enables this to work.
We haven’t had an Open Day for a little while so, because we can’t think of anything better to do today, we thought we would have one today. However, because we have a new blog, we thought we would give them a new name. So instead of just calling it our Open Night, we thought we would call our free-for-all days; It’s Good To Talk Shit Day.
