Am I the only one who remembers this great television programme from the mid-1990s? This is Timothy Stack as Dick Dietrick in the fake chat show Nightstand. This was a forerunner of Jeremy Kyle and was aimed as a spoof version of Jerry Springer. One of the guests on this show was actually shot dead.

When you take your dog for a walk on the beach you expect to find some unusual things washed up by the tide. One thing you do not expect is an Emperor Penguin from the South Pole. However, that is exactly what happened to a lady walking her dog on Peka Peka Beach in southern New Zealand. Experts believe the Penguin had swum 4,000 miles from the Antarctic waters where he lives before coming ashore in New Zealand.

Razzi and I have been working late tonight, So, with that in mind, we thought it must be time for another “It’s Good To Talk” day. Just in case you are unfamiliar with these events, then let me explain. If you visit the blog on an “It’s Good To Talk” day, then you have to leave a comment behind because, after all, it is usually good to talk. It can be on any subject you choose and the more random you make it, usually the funnier we all find it. Just comment with whatever comes into your head or if you are new to the blog just say “Hello”. Anything goes on an Open Night and Random is cool.

Most of our Bears don’t get involved in politics. Our opinion is that all parties are as bad as each other and that most, if not all, Politian’s are in it for what they can get out of it for themselves. Just look at how sleazy they all were over the expenses scandal. They are like a flock of birds, all trying to feather their own nests.

Sorry, I just can’t help it. I played this in the car the other day and I have been walking around singing it ever since. It is one of those songs that when you hear it you don’t think much of it but then find yourself singing it for the rest of the day. Next thing you know you love the song and play it over and over.

The Bears have been busy the last couple of days after a disaster with our hosting company. We needed to undertake some site maintenance on our blog so we backed everything up to make sure everything was safe. Then we noticed we could not access our SQL Database because the password had been changed by our host following a previous problem. We contacted them and they put the problem right without much delay.

If there is one man who should stick to what he does best then it is Kevin Smith. I love the guy, I love most of his movies – but man does he produce some shit along with the gems. The guy is capable of some great movies along the lines of Clerks, Dogma, Chasing Amy, Jay & Silent Bob Strike Back and Clerks II. He can make some watchable movies like Mallrats and Zack & Miri Make a Porno. However, this is the man also responsible for Jersey Girl and the lamest of them all Cop Out with Bruce Willis.
