Razzi and I are working late tonight and tomorrow, so we thought it would be a good idea to have a double “It’s Good To Talk Shit” day covering the next two days. Just in case you are unfamiliar with these events, then let me explain. If you visit the blog on an “It’s Good To Talk” day, then you have to leave a comment behind because, after all, it is usually good to talk. It can be on any subject you choose and the more random you make it, usually the funnier we all find it. Just comment with whatever comes into your head or if you are new to the blog just say “Hello”. Anything goes on an Open Night and Random is cool.
Acouple of months ago, we told you the story of the Emperor Penguin from the South Pole who got lost and ended up in New Zealand. Since then Happy Feet, as he has been named, has been visited by hundreds of people in Wellington Zoo where he has been recovering on a diet of Fish Milkshakes. Today, he starts his journey back home to Antarctica.
Today we are pleased to announce the arrival of another little soul to join our merry band of Bears. Josh arrived today from Caerphilly where he has lived with his former family. Unlike many of our Bears, Josh was not unwanted in fact he was very happy in Wales and his family where very happy for him to live there.
We are very late today as we had a bit of Bear business to deal with. As soon as I walked through the door today I was met by Edward in a little bit of a flap. He had found a new Bear on eBay that was on Buy Now and Edward did not have my PayPal password. He was terrified that someone else would beat us to this new Bear but he needn’t have worried because as soon as Razzi and I got on the computer we dived on eBay and rescued the Bear.
England have completed another victory over India to achieve a 4-0 series whitewash. India’s remaining batsmen were bowled out in quick succession as England stormed to victory by an innings and eight runs midway through the afternoon of the final day. To demonstrate just how well England have been playing this is their seventh innings victory in 13 tests.
Often the highlight of The Bears year is when Britain’s Got Talent or The X Factor is on the telly. However, this year we are a little apprehensive – will the new judging panel make the grade or do they need a buzzer themselves? Out has gone Simon; out have gone Cheryl and Danni Minogue. The only one remaining from last year’s line-up is Louis who we are not that keen on. In fact, we would like to know what he has on Simon to make him keep him on the show. His taste in music is terrible – he must be the only person in the country who actually liked Jedward!
