Happy New Year and welcome to the new blog. If you have followed the bears before then welcome back but if you are new to our blog then make yourselves at home. Whoever you are, wherever you are from, we always like to see you here at Jammy Toast.

Just in case you are new, then let me introduce ourselves. Here at Jammy Toast we save Renault Bears many of whom have been cast adrift into the hands of charity shops and eBay sales. All these bears need is a happy family home to make them feel at home – this is where we step in. Our job here at Jammy Toast is to save Renault Bears and provide them with a happy home where they can watch daytime telly and play on the internet. We do not undertake all this work on our own; we have many friends. Our friends follow us here on the blog and partake in some rather interesting discussions. We have seen many of our friends grow up over the years of the original blog. If you fancy a giggle or if you have been following the blog for any time then go and take a look at our oldest friends here. You can also see some more modern pictures or newer friends here.

We will be starting a new photo gallery for 2012, so if you have a photo you would like included then just send it in. Just make sure you get permission from anyone in the picture – we don’t want any law suits!

As for navigating your way around the new Jammy Toast site, if you are reading this then you have found the blog so I guess you do not need me to explain about this. However, this is where any new posts appear, usually on a daily basis, depending on how busy we are and how much we have to say. You will also find BearTube and BearStars if you look in the MEDIA menu above.

Make yourselves at home and take a look around you will get the hang of it in no time.

Finally, we would like to thank a few people for their invaluable help in building our new site. First and foremost we would like to thank WordPress for the greatest CMS on the planet and also to the WordPress Community who are always on hand for help and advice. Webtreats for the InFocus Theme and finally, we would like to heap our gratitude onto the shoulders of Edward (technical expertise) and Egginanoo (artwork) for their help in putting the new blog together. We could never have done this without everyone!
