Normally we praise our friends because on the whole you are a great bunch of people who are always here to help us. You entertain us with your witty comments and stories of everyday life that somehow always seems to go wrong. It has even been known for you to tell us jokes which we sometimes find rather amusing. Andrea just behaves as she normally does and this we find the funniest all. However, when it comes to naming bears, you really are pants!

The other week we had two new friends join us here at the Bear Sanctuary and we asked for you to recommend names for them to ponder. Up to date we have not received a single recommendation. Our new friends have sat around waiting to be named and until today have been nameless. So we got our thinking caps on and Razzi, Edward, Erik – because he happened to be passing by at the time – and I set to work finding a new name for our two nameless Renaults.

After much thought and internet research, we can now announce that our two new bears have decided on the names of Elmar and Emeril.

At last they have a name – no thanks to you lot!

We are currently in hot pursuit of another couple of bears who are in need of a new home but because of previous sabotage attempts we shall keep details secret until they are on their way to join us.

The bears are all chilling tonight getting over the labours of today. They have been busy all day tidying the Bear Sanctuary which was beginning to look a little like a pigpen than a bear den. We have had to make four trips to the tip with rubbish accumulated around the place. Just when we were finished and relaxing with a Tomato and Herb Mugshot; Razzi had to spoil the atmosphere. Looking around he suddenly announced we have room to fit in some more female bears now! Only he could have come out with that statement.

Well time to get a long hot shower and wash away the labours of the day.
