There is nothing we love more here at Jammy Toast than listening to some of our favourite tunes. From time to time we will post a music video from an artist or genre that we think will be enjoyable to you; our friends. We often feature music that you may not have come across before, or music that maybe you just missed the first time around. Try and listen with an open mind, you never know, you may find something you can add to your iPod. If you have any music videos you would like us to feature then drop us a line – we are always happy to listen to requests but we cannot promise to feature everyone’s favourite

The Bears have spent most of today listening to Amy Winehouse’s posthumous album, Lioness: Hidden Treasure which has gone straight to the top of the UK Chart. The record, which features 12 original tracks and covers, was compiled by Mark Ronson, the same long-time partner who made her Back To Black album. He said Lioness was “an insight into the songs she loved.”

RIP Amy Winehouse

You will have heard by now of the tragic death yesterday of Amy Winehouse. We all loved her style of Jazz, Blues and Soul and her Back to Black album is never far away from the stereo at the Bear Sanctuary. With her gravelly voice and diverse style she stood up to comparison with some of the best female singers of all time like Nina Simone. It is just so unfortunate that she had a talent for self-destruction like that other great singer, Janis Joplin.
