As many of you will know, Edward has been trawling through the Jammy Toast archives for posts to include on our other site; Classic Toast. Yesterday he discovered some posts from 2008 featuring an old friend of ours Jožin Z Bažin. Now Jožin is the creation of another old friend of ours Ivan Mládek. So for the purposes of those of you who have never head of Jožin or Ivan let me explain. Ivan Mládek is from Prague and in 1966 he formed his first – now famous – Banjo Band. In the 1970s Ivan and his Band had become famous in Czechoslovakia. By the mid-1980s, Ivan was the star of many Czechoslovakian television shows.
Awoman has gone on the run after attacking her mother with a cheeseburger. Police were called to a McDonald’s restaurant in Indianapolis, Indiana, at around 12.30am on Sunday following reports of an assault. The two women are believed to have started arguing after the mother told her daughter she could no longer stay at her home. The 60-year-old mum was driving her daughter, 39, to someone else’s house when the younger woman changed her mind about where she wanted to go, the Indy Star newspaper reported.
For some time now, Razzi has been asking if we could get him a Steiff Bear as a little companion. Although he already has Pookie, I thought it might be a good idea. Because of the history of the Steiff Company, to bring one of their bears to join us here at Jammy Toast would be fantastic. After searching for a while, we discovered that the most expensive Steiff Bear ever sold was a Steiff Monaco Bear which sold for £130,190. It was dressed by Louis Vuitton and sold at a charity auction in Monaco. Razzi said he had to have one of those!
Razzi is a little bit of a scaredy-cat and is often found hiding under the bed or behind the sofa when something scares him. If a horror film is on the telly then the first sign of trouble is when Razzi starts to go a little pale. Then when the monster or scary villain is revealed Razzi is nowhere to be seen – he is in hiding again. Not all bears are brave and whereas most bears hide up a tree if they are scared, Razzi is scared of heights. In this series of posts, we take a look at some of the monsters and villains that have scared Razzi…
For some time now we have had to endure rumour upon rumour here at Jammy Toast. People have been saying that Razzi is a floozy and has multiple liaisons with girlies. Of course Razzi has always denied these rumours stating that he is just a friendly bear who has many friends of the female variety. He goes on to state that most of the rumours start because some people are jealous of his platonic relationships and go out of their way to churn the gossip machine into a frenzy. Of course, here at Jammy Toast, we have always backed out friend because… well, he is our friend. However, if you look at the picture above, we now have to accept that even we can no longer back Razzi’s denials!
Hello again, everyone. Do you ever get the feeling that the world is going mental? Do you get the feeling that there are that many nutters in the world you can never relax and feel safe? Do you fear that you will get caught up in something that they are doing? People just seem unable to control their anger towards others and so they are looking for someone to take it out on. Up until now I have always thought that at least we can turn to the police, but after reading a story in the news I am not so sure the police are as sane as I once thought.
Razzi is always a very polite bear. He maybe naughty but if there is anyone in need, then he is always the first to offer help. He has a good heart and is always happy to offer others assistance. Our Granny has not long ago had a knee replacement operation and is also suffering from dizzy spells which are a mystery to modern medicine. Granny wanted to get out and get some shopping in but was a little reluctant to go alone in case her leg started aching or she started to feel dizzy. Razzi stepped forward without hesitation to offer his help while the other bears looked on in trepidation. As many of you may already know, Granny has a bit of a reputation for being a little scatty so the other bears were a little reluctant to get involved in any of her hair-brained schemes.
We like to think that we are pretty broadminded here at Jammy Toast. There is not much which will shock us and I guess there is nothing much we have not seen before, if we are being honest. That was true until last night, while we were channel flipping to find something to watch, when we came across something which totally took our attention. There on screen was quite an attractive young Asian lady without many clothes on and in plain sight were her breasts. Again this is nothing we haven’t seen before and, needless to say, it caught our attention and we sat spellbound by this beauty from Thailand. Then, as the camera moved down, there it was in all its glory – A PENIS!
As you all know, Razzi is scared of his own shadow and is often found hiding behind the couch when something scary comes on the telly. So you can imagine how he is feeling at the moment with the latest craze of dressing up like killer clowns. Imagine it. You’re on your way home. It’s dark. Out of the corner of your eye you see a figure lurking menacingly. As your eyes adjust to the gloom, the figure eases into focus – it’s a clown. At this point Razzi would be trying to find his nearest hiding spot but is it as funny…
Frank and Alice are both dead people who Razzi and I used to spend time with at Flaybrick Cemetery during lunch breaks from work. During the summer months, I would park along the path in the Victorian Cemetery where it was quiet and relaxing. It was very pleasant to sit back after I had eaten lunch and have a little “me” time. I did have some fears that maybe, because nobody has been buried there for so long, the cemetery would be flattened to make way for new housing as has happened further down the road. However, upon reading the notice board; I discovered that it is a grade II registered public cemetery which had been opened in 1864. Furthermore some very famous people are buried there including many of the Laird family so it was going nowhere for the foreseeable future.
