Tother day we told you all of our fixation with the sitcom Father Ted following our discovery of the whole series and Christmas special available on Sky Boxsets. After watching all the episodes we had become obsessed with the Islands and also the shipwreck which we tracked down; discovering it was in fact the MV Plassy which was shipwrecked in 1960 and had been grounded on Finnis Rock ever since. While researching Father Ted and the shipwreck we came across some astounding facts concerning the ship, islands and the programme itself.

As we all know, the bears here at Jammy Toast are big telly fanatics and there is nothing they enjoy more than spending their days watching telly. Recently we have been watching re-runs of all the Father Ted sitcoms featuring the lives of Father Ted Crilly, Father Dougal McGuire and Father Jack Hackett who are exiled on Craggy Island by Bishop Brennan for various past indiscretions. The priests live chaotic lives together in the Parochial House with their housekeeper, Mrs Doyle, who always wants to serve cups of tea.
