If there is one thing we enjoy here at Jammy Toast it is patting someone on the back for a job well done. Such is the case with Judge Michael Heath who has just sentenced a dangerous prisoner to 45 years in prison. The prisoner, Richard Ford, 38, was serving a 30-month sentence for possessing a knife in a public place, when he decided to make threats to kill from his prison cell. After hearing Ford had spent most of the last 14 years in jail but despite being held at HMP Nottingham last January, he still passed a series of notes to prison officers. The notes contained a list of potential victims he was going to kill and have sex with their corpses.
Purple Acky, aka Akinwale Arobieke, is a convicted criminal from Liverpool who has been arrested on numerous occasions and charged with touching young boy’s muscles. He is said to be a 6ft 5in tall bodybuilder who weighs about 22 stone. His criminal activities are sexually motivated, a fact which was recognised in 2006 by Liverpool Magistrates’ Court, when Merseyside Police successfully applied to them for a Sexual Offences Prevention Order (SOPO). He has tormented young males all over Merseyside for years and now has been spotted on a Merseyrail train!
Children around the world are often threatened with a mythical creature referred to as The Bogeyman. He is simply a scary person used to frighten younger children into good behaviour. This Bogeyman has no specific appearance and conceptions about him can vary drastically from household to household within the same community; in many cases, he has no set appearance in the mind of an adult but is simply a non-specific embodiment of terror. Parents may tell their children that if they misbehave, the bogeyman will get them. However, here on Merseyside we have a far scarier monster called Purple Acky. The reason he is scarier than the Bogeyman is that he actually exists.
