You will all know by now, if you have been following Jammy Toast for any length of time, that we love our tellybox and everything about it. If we were to move to live on a desert island then our Sky+ HD box would be the first thing that we would take with us. In fact, I think the Box Sets available on Sky is the best invention of the twenty-first century. We have watched many programmes on this including 24, Grey’s Anatomy, Hannibal, The Tunnel, The Following, Strike Back, Luther and our latest discovery Prey. They are all brilliant programmes and available to watch when we want to watch them and we can watch as many episodes at once as we wish – what more could a simple teddy bear ask for. However, there is just one downside to this – the length of some of the series compared to the number of hours in the day!

Iam the oldest bear here at Jammy Toast and have a reputation for being a grumpy old bear. I am not really grumpy but things are just not the same these days as they used to be and I am not usually slow at coming forward to complain about it. I can remember the days when we only had three channels to watch on the television and yet there always seemed to be something on worth watching. These days we have literally thousands of channels and there is very little worth watching. What happened to the days when I actually got excited when it was announced we were to get a fourth nation channel and even more excited when it was announced that the television was going to continue broadcasting after midnight.

For some time now everyone has been puzzled as to why the television in the front room has been changing channel or suddenly become very loud or muting itself. It is almost as if the television itself is haunted. Granny has puzzled as to what is going on for a while now and has even accused the neighbours of having the same television and our telly goes bananas as a result of them changing channel with their remote.
