Today, we continue our series of posts featuring our favourite films. There is nothing the bears love more than settling around the telly to watch one of our favourite films. Here at Jammy Toast, some of those films have been watched over and over and we would like nothing better than sharing them with you. Our tastes are many and varied as we enjoy films from some of our favourite directors and actors, some of whom we just love everything they do. So today, we continue our tour of some of our favourite movies of all time with What About Bob?

There is nothing more we love here at Jammy Toast than listening to some of our favourite tunes. From time to time we will post a music video from an artist or genre that we think will be enjoyable to you; our friends. We often feature music that you may not have come across before, or music that maybe you just missed the first time around. Try and listen with an open mind, you never know, you may find something you can add to your iPod. If you have any music videos you would like us to feature then drop us a line – we are always happy to listen to requests but we cannot promise to feature everyone’s favourite…

From time to time here at Jammy Toast, we have some famous people come and visit and leave the odd comment on our posts. We seem to be very popular with celebrities and – coincidently – they always seem to be celebrities we have a particular fondness for. Today, we thought we would start a collection of posts explaining who these celebrities are and explain, where we can, how they came to discover Jammy Toast and the nature of the comments they leave behind. Today, we are featuring, the one and only

Talking Shit #24

Today we are going to ask everyone who visits Jammy Toast to just “Talk Shit” for the day. We ask that anyone who visits Jammy Toast leaves a comment on just about any subject they choose. Funny or sad, true or false, real or fake; we don’t give a shit as long as it is entertaining and doesn’t really hurt anyone. We ask you to do this because we are too busy to think of anything else to post – hopefully everyone will like the freedom to whine and bitch. The rules are pretty simple to explain – basically, anything goes!

Jammy Toast has been warned to expect some of the harshest, snowiest winter weather in years. Experts are saying this winter is threatening to buck the trend of previous mild winters with the mercury set to plunge. They predict the cold will set in at the start of next month before thermometers plummeting through December and January. Forecasters say the conditions this winter are set to be “potent” and “memorable” – with snow likely as soon as November.

Our Granny #6

The bears have a Granny – a human one – who they are all very fond of, even though she treats them with disdain – and that is putting it mildly. Now Granny lives in a special Granny flat here at Jammy Toast which we made for her advancing years so she can have some company, if she so desires, while also keeping her own independence. Granny doesn’t like asking for help and continues to do some of the many day to day tasks which women her age find increasingly difficult. She also continues to drive despite pleading from family and friends. It is her driving and persistence in continuing to undertake daily tasks which seems to get her in deeper and deeper trouble – much to her bewilderment and our sniggering

Hello, my name is Bimbo. I am Great Uncle to all the bears even though I am not really a Renault Bear myself. It is a bit of an honorary title because I am a very old bear. In fact, I was bought for The Bearkeeper by his Grandparents on the day that he was born many years ago. I can remember many things that have happened in my lifetime and these are the things I write about in my column. I will tell you of things that happened not just to The Bearkeeper and me, but things I can remember from television, news or anything else that comes into my head
