However now, for the first time, the doors are open for everyone at the studio where it first began. People have the chance to go behind-the-scenes and see many things the camera never shows. From breathtakingly detailed sets to stunning costumes, props and animatronics, the tour provides a unique showcase of the extraordinary British artistry, technology and talent that went into making the most successful film series of all time.
The Miss Chimpton daughter has gone with him to act as official photographer to reserve the event for posterity and Eddie has promised to write all about it upon his return.
As well as watching live training demonstrations, Eddie will discover how animals learnt to ‘act’ by taking a look at the equipment and tricks that were used on set by some of the talented training teams that helped to create the performances of over 250 live animals throughout all eight films.
