here is nothing we love more here at Jammy Toast than listening to some of our favourite tunes. From time to time we will post a music video from an artist or genre that we think will be enjoyable to you; our friends. We often feature music that you may not have come across before, or music that maybe you just missed the first time around. Try and listen with an open mind, you never know, you may find something you can add to your iPod. If you have any music videos you would like us to feature then drop us a line – we are always happy to listen to requests but we cannot promise to feature everyone’s favourite

“Sail Away” is a song by David Gray. It was released as the fourth single from the White Ladder album on 16th July 2001. Remixes by Rae & Christian and Biffco were also commissioned and featured on the single formats. The DVD single features live video footage taken from his concert DVD release David Gray: Live. The song is also featured in the movie 15 Minutes.

I think these days just about anyone can go into a modern recording studio with all the gizmos they have there and make a passable attempt at a song. To just sit down at a piano and sing and play with none of that wizardry is something else entirely.

Don’t forget, if you have any music videos you would like us to feature in the future, drop us a line. We are always happy to listen to requests from others, we cannot promise to feature any but we will try our best to find the videos if we think others will enjoy.

Flat Eric

Flat Eric is a star of Levi’s commercials for Sta-Prest One Crease Denim Clothing. His name comes from an idea for a commercial that included having a car run over his head and flattening it. The idea was not used but the name stuck. Flat Eric rides with his friend Angel around California, evading the police as a wanted criminal.

  1. If Uncle Albert played and sang this down the Nag’s Head they wouldn’t complain about his singing. Makes you want to be able to play the piano and sing this song.

  2. It’s a funny old world, there’s some people protesting about not taking a vaccine that hasn’t even been released yet and I’d happily take my chances letting Charlie Sheen insert a Coronavirus vaccine into me anally using his riddled penis if it meant getting back to normal…

  3. 41 years old and laying here wondering if the bogey man is under my bed or hiding in a cupboard and if I’ve actually locked the doors, which I’m now going to have to check…. that’s watching horrors on your own for ya!

  4. The biggest mistake I made recently was buying days of the week panties. Now when I look through the dryer after my shower and I pull a pair out it’s like great I can’t wear these it’s fucking Sunday these are Tuesday’s panties.

  5. I’m in a place where I wouldn’t change who I am for anything. I love myself. But my fucking god being awake at this time overthinking fate is not one of my most lovable qualities.

  6. “I shall have to go and find Pooh,” said Tigger. “May I find him too?” asked Roo eagerly. “We’ll see,” said Kanga, and Roo, who knew what THAT meant, went into a corner, because he didn’t want Tigger to think he minded when he went off without him.

  7. Rachel Riley on Family Fortunes playing for a children’s charity when the party she heavily campaigns for would happily see 8 out of 10 kids starve is peak 2020 banter…

I often sleep through the whole night snuggled up against the leg of my sleeping English human. I like it even more when she spreads her pink fluffy dressing gown on the bed so I get an extra-comfortable top layer. I love my sleep rituals.

  9. A crow follows my human around the allotments. He comes so close she can almost touch him. I know he’s hoping she will give him some food, she thinks it’s because he likes her. I wonder who’s right? Or maybe we both are?

  10. I had that Monday morning feeling until I found a Dreamie I’d dropped earlier. Now things are looking up and it looks like it’s going to be a great week. Have a good day friends stay safe and take care.

  11. With my key advisors gone and only a few days to sort a Brexit deal, it is vital that I quickly reboot my government and show clear and decisive leadership.
On second thoughts, I’ll just have a couple of weeks off because I didn’t follow my own rules.

  12. Me heads fell off an arl fellers just knocked with a parcel went “good morning sir how the devil are we today” took a picture of me with the parcel an bounced back down me path before I even got a word out.
